Hi Lawyers & Friends!
I am currently falling into a trap where my ex-housemate borrow a lumsum of SGD3,000 from me but he is reluctant to return those money to me.
He did signed on a paper stating the owing amount with his Malaysian IC. However, this piece of paper has not been stamping by any legal firm.
I would appreciate any inputs from you what can i do from legal point of view to bring back the money he owe me by bringing him to court? How much expenses i will have to bare or will i eventually lost even more money by bring this issue to court?
